How to read it

Expected value of ripping = packs × expected value per pack. Compare that with the price of the single you actually want. Ripping also has a variance cost: the median outcome is worse than the average when a few chase cards carry the value. The tool reports both the average and a rough “chance of beating the single” using your hit assumptions.
